Design Thursday #4: UX, Natural Selection

2017-01-25 17:15

Tomorrow, 27 January at 7 pm the fourth lecture from the Design Thursdays cycle will take place. Marco Dolera, UX Designer, Digital Trasformation Consultant will deliver a seminar on how UXD reshapes our everyday-life products. The seminar will take place at DesignLibary Kaunas, at KTU Santaka Valley.

User Experience or UX is quite a common term now, especially in digital industries. But where does it come from? Who coined this term and why? And, the most important aspect – why in a scope of less than 20 years, this phrase has become from a professional term a must-have for every business?

During the seminar Marco Dolera will talk about user experience as not only practice, but also as a business disruption strategy. The seminar is free for DesignLibrary members.

Design Thursdays at DesignLibrary Kaunas cover topics from engineering to user-inspired design, and take audience to the design journey through time.

DesignLibrary Kaunas is mutual project of KTU Design Centre and DesignLibrary Milano.

The aim of the Project is to diffuse&share design culture, raise awareness about design, promote the collaboration between studies, arts/science and business through design. By uniting international and national professionals working in design field the DesignLibrary promotes Lithuanian design culture across other nations.
