Last week Kaunas University of Technology Erasmus Student Network (ESN KTU) organised the Farewell Gala for the KTU exchange students, who have spent this semester studying at KTU. Farewell Gala: Rock 'n' Roll Edition featured Erasmus Awards, and was attended by a happy crowd of international and local students.
Everybody had loads of fun watching the nominees performing various tasks, enjoying snacks and the delicious cake. The organisers and the students had shared their memories of studying together for several months, and used the opportunity to strengthen their bonds and to make plans to meet again.
“Communicating with international students expanded my worldview: I got to know other cultures and became more aware of mine. This experience made me more open to the new ideas, and to rely less on stereotypes. These are very useful qualities both for my personal development and for my studies”, says Viktorija Lankauskaitė, the New Media Language student and the member of KTU ESN.
During the event the Multilingual Lithuania teachers were awarded their certificates.
