On Monday, 3 April, an exhibition featuring portraits of students from India studying at KTU will open at Ugnė Karvelis gymnasium (Akademija, Kaunas county). The portraits have been created by Inga Kerinaitė, a member of KTU Photo Studio. The exhibition, which has been introduced to KTU community last autumn, is the first travelling KTU Photo Studio’s exhibition.
From 29 March, on the KTU Cultural Centre’s second floor another exhibition from the KTU Photo Studio member, Viktorija Aužbikavičiūtė has opened. The exhibition Nata is comprised of collection of photographs, united by the topic of human connection with music. The exhibition will be on until the beginning of May.
The spring season at KTU’s Photo Studio is full of ideas and events. Besides the two exhibitions, KTU Photo Studio will offer workshops, lectures and events, which will allow all the KTU community to get acquainted with photography and the activities of KTU Photo Studio. “I am always happy to meet a person who creates something, and will always look for ways to introduce talented young photographers to the community of professionals”, says Donatas Stankevičius, professional photo artist and the leader of the Studio.
