Making Innovation happen: Introduction to EIT Communities

At the first part of the event European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) will present six Innovation Communities (Climate, Digital, Food, Health, InnoEnergy, RawMaterials) and how they support local innovation ecosystems through their activities in project cooperation, startup support and educational offerings.

At the second part of event you will have a chance to listen the panel discussion among national innovation actors from public sector, business, academia and research areas. They will represent what challenges and what solutions can be made to improve the state of innovation in Lithuania.

The last part is dedicated for workshops. It’s an open discussion for everybody, who are interested in EIT activities. More specific workshops will be divided into two thematic fields: 1) financing innovation and entrepreneurial education (EIT activities) and second one – building innovation partnerships among research, education and business.
